I am an architect by training and a researcher, curator, and game designer by practice. Since 2018, my work has focused on exploring video games as spatial, cultural, and architectural phenomena — through research, education, and hands-on development.
I graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute (MArchI) in 2016. Before transitioning fully into the game and digital culture field, I worked in architecture, urbanism, and strategic consulting, including at Strelka KB.
Alongside my research practice, I curate and teach educational programs at the intersection of architecture, digital culture, and game design. I am currently a curator of the
Digital Culture module in the Master’s program at MARSH Architectural School (Universal University), and the
Game Design track within the HX-Design program at Central University.
Since 2019, I have been working with game and digital products both independently and within studios. I run a small independent studio,
Adagia, where I develop experimental and commercial game projects, combining hands-on production with ongoing research into games as cultural and spatial systems.
In 2021, I was a co-curator of the Open Project for the Russian Federation Pavilion at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale.
From 2021 to 2024, I led digital project development at Sensorium, a company focused on metaverse and virtual environments. After several years of studio and platform-based work, I returned to independent game development, continuing my research into games as cultural and spatial systems.
My practice lies between theory and production: from lectures, courses, and curatorial projects to experimental games and interactive worlds.
I also run
Artful Artform, a Telegram channel where I reflect on video games as architectural, spatial, and cultural phenomena, sharing research notes, essays, and observations.
